I am the kind of person who likes being alone but certainly not for long - loneliness haunts me as well. I like to be surrounded by lovely people as much as I like solitude.

What a wild year this has been! Although it has not been the year we expected it to be, but it definitely has brought in the best among us. Let’s welcome 2021 with new hopes and a positive outlook. As we bid goodbye to the year 2020, here are few lines in Hindi wishing a very happy and prosperous new year to all of us!

What are your best childhood memories? I am sure that for most of us the list would be pretty long. Childhood indeed is the precious time of our life. I think no matter how successful and happy we are as a grown-up, we always find our childhood days the best. There is nothing more beautiful than our childhood memories. And whenever these memories cross our mind they always leave a sweet smile on our face.

Humans are the most powerful creature on this planet. But are we humans using our powers responsibly? We are indeed living in a modern world where technology is taking over everything. We can measure the environment pollution level by latest technology but only some people are actually volunteering to save the environment.

We all are pretty much aware of the current situation of the coronavirus outbreak. This global pandemic has caused a menace all over the world. It’s like life has become a mess lately, as a lot of people are facing different kinds of issues and have become a victim of lockdown. Some of us are privileged enough to safely stay indoors and work at a place we call home. On the other hand, some people are suffering terribly from this situation struggling to earn their daily wages. But apart from all the chaos and negativity, the one thing that we must believe in is that sooner or later, everything’s going to be okay.

Books and movies are loved by many people, but if you ask someone which one is better people will certainly go blank. I think in reality movies can’t replace books and vice versa. I have tried to write some lines on this debating topic in the form of verses. I hope you can relate to these lines.

Having ambitions does not mean that we will achieve everything. We also need a lot of commitment to be successful and enjoy the small pleasures of life. Apart from all the dreams and ambitions of our life, there are small pleasures of life that we ignore sometimes.

We should always give our best to make our dreams real and in turn we will live a life that we won’t regret. So never stop dreaming until you are breathing. Never stop fighting and living for your dream.

As International Women’s Day is around the corner, I can’t help myself but wonder about the power of being a woman. Here, I am attempting to pen down a reflection of my thoughts in the form of rhymed verses on this occasion.
