What a wild year this has been! Although it has not been the year we expected it to be, but it definitely has brought in the best among us. Let’s welcome 2021 with new hopes and a positive outlook. As we bid goodbye to the year 2020, here are few lines in Hindi wishing a very happy and prosperous new year to all of us!

नए साल की शुभकामनाएँ
साल २०२० इतिहास में एक नया अध्याय जोड़ गया,
है ताक़तवर सबसे इंसान – इस भ्रम को शायद तोड़ गया।
ये साल एक नयी तरीक़े की ज़िंदगी जीना सिखा गया,
रफ़्तार थोड़ी कम कर लो ज़िंदगी की – ये दिखा गया।
घरों की चार दीवारों में क़ैद से थे हम सब,
बेबस थे पर अपनों के क़रीब थे हम सब।
बीते साल के कुछ सबक़ हमें हमेशा याद रहेंगे,
ज़िंदगी जी भर ज़ीयो गुजरे हुए पल फिर ना मिलेंगे।
हर इंसान ने अलग ज़िंदगी जी है इस साल,
होनहारों ने घर बैठे दिखाए अपने हुनर के कमाल।
किसी को बेरोज़गारी ने भरपूर सताया है,
कोई दो वक्त की रोटी का जुगाड़ भी ना कर पाया है।
हर साल की तरह ये साल भी अब जा रहा है,
बस निशानियाँ अपनी छोड़ कर सब जा रहा है।
पहले सी ना होगी ज़िंदगी आने वाले साल में भी,
बस अब हमें पता है कैसे खुश रहना है हर हाल में भी।
तैयार रहना है अब हर चुनौती से लड़ने के लिए,
चलों अलविदा कहें इस साल को कुछ नए पहाड़ चढ़ने के लिए।
साल आते जाते रहेंगे और ज़िंदगी जीने के नए तरीक़े सिखाते रहेंगे,
हम भी हर साल नयी ज़िंदगी में रम कर दिखाते रहेंगे।
